Last 31st October we celebrated Halloween in Riding. The students made the most of the time and had a great Halloween party with teachers and classmates. 

Petits i grans vam gaudir d'una estona de diversió i amistat, envoltats dels personatges més terrorífics: skeletons, goblins, ghosts... Tots i totes disposats a passar-ho molt bé!!!!

Last Monday we enjoyed an unusual afternoon by having a fantastic Halloween party with classmates and teachers! We played games, we had scary snacks and we danced like only professionals do!

Va ser una estona diferent, que estreta les relacions entre companys i companyes i que fa descobrir una altra cara de l’aprenentatge, envoltats de crazy teachers que faciliten aquest ambient tan especial...

Last Thursday we celebrated our first Halloween party of the course, having fun with the classmates and teachers.

SUMMER CAMP 2018

WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

Last 13th July it was the last day of our first Summer Camp.

It is really difficult for us to find the words to describe such an awesome experience! Full of magic and special moments...

Després de la nostra primera vegada, podem assegurar que ha valgut molt la pena tot l’esforç de l’equip per aconseguir que cada dia esdevingués inoblidable.

Mil gràcies als nens i nenes que han seguit el ritme esbojarrat de les aventures de Mr Huggins, gràcies a la voluntat i el talent dels nostres botiguers i botigueres que s’han apuntat al sarao, gràcies a tots i totes!!

WRITING A STORY IS GREAT!

The SINGERS  and the STARS have been working to write a story about the legend of Saint George and the dragon, creating their own crazy versions of the traditional one.

Els nens i nenes dels dos grups han estat treballant junts per crear una versió molt personal de la tradicional llegenda. Treballar en equip ens permet evolucionar, aprendre i gaudir de nous amics i amigues. També hem treballat la pronúncia i l'entonació en anglès. No deixeu de veure les dues versions (en grups mixtes SINGERS i STARS ), segur que us encantaran!!

FROGS AND ZEBRAS CELEBRATE A GREAT DAY FOR US!

Today our students have enjoyed a theatre play where the teachers acted out as if they were George the knight, the princess, and the dragon!

Han gaudit de la tradicional història que forma part de la cultura anglesa, a l'igual que de la catalana.

El patró d'Anglaterra ha estat present també en activitats com el Photocall o la realització d'una veritable obra d'art amb pintura.

After  the EASTER break, classes have started, too!

Una de les tradicions britàniques és celebrar l’Easter Bonnet Parade i a Riding hem volgut proposar a les famílies que, durant les vacances elaboressin un espectacular barret ben primaveral.

Després de fer votar a pares i alumnes, els barrets guanyadors rebran un obsequi molt especial. Felicitar els 44 Easter Bonnets i dir-vos que sou uns artistes! Congratulations!!!

With patience and effort our girls have been learning to sew their own monkey toy. 

Han après vocabulary relatiu a les parts del cos, seguiment d'instruccions i paraules relatives a la costura, en anglès. No ha estat fàcil, però el procés ha estat molt enriquidor. És la primera activitat planificada en el projecte que han triat, Crafts & experiments.

As part of their project about Chemistry, Emojis and Fantastics have made marble paper with oil colour paints, turpentine, glue and water.

Han pogut experimentar què passa amb els diferents elements quan entren en contacte i quines reaccions es produeixen, imprimint els seus propis dissenys en paper. A magic time spent together!!!
